The growing number of military living history groups and their demand for the equipage and uniforms of the Old Army has prompted me to develop this website.

I am myself involved in living history of the period and I am all too aware of how difficult it can be to acquire uniforms and accoutrements whose quality is comparable to the original articles. To use original pieces is no longer a viable solution, as they are becoming more expensive, harder to find and the quality of those pieces which are offered on today's market is very often quite low. The only solution, therefore, is to offer reproductions which mirror the originals in every respect as much as possible.

I have been able to achieve the desired results with many different types of insignia and accoutrements, but of course I am unable to offer everything which might be required for a given impression. There are other vendors who can produce some of the items which we cannot in a much better and more historically correct fashion. In other cases, the materials required to produce a museum-quality copy simply no longer exist. A good example of this would be the various types of litzen and tressen. Those items which I do produce, however, are of the highest quality possible and I am quite sure that you will be very pleased. I finish my pieces as if I intended to wear or display them myself, and I will not accept "close enough" as a result.

I ame not a warehouse or online-shop, however, and the items which I offer you are custom-made per your request. This takes time and I would ask your patience in the process; I am certain you will not be disappointed.

I am constantly striving to expand my list of offerings, so please check this site often. Should there be something you require which is not listed on this site, please feel free to send me an
E-Mail and tell me what it is you need. I very much look forward to working with you!
